What is Live Earth?

Co-Chaired by former Vice President Al Gore, Live Earth will be a legendary music event – 9 concerts, over 100 headlining music acts, 24 hours of music across all 7 continents broadcast to over 2 billion people. No Canadian city is represented in the 9-city Live Earth line-up, so Global Habitat Festival was established as a Friends of Live Earth event so Canadians can actively participate in the global movement expected from Live Earth on July 7, 2007.
